Don’t be a HAG!

People all get old, but not all of them turn into hags. A hag is someone who is angry, bitter, hostile, and unfriendly. A hag sits around all day complaining about how rough life is and how unfair it is that they’re in the terrible condition they are. A hag is jealous of everyone else who can do things that they can’t and they try to make everyone else’s life miserable with their complaining. A hag doesn’t even have to be old, although many are. There are young hags all over the place. The antidote to becoming a hag is easy to remember.

Be:

H ealthy,
A ctive, &
G rateful

to avoid being a
HAG.

Healthy people have little to complain about. Taking care of your body is the best thing you can do for yourself. If you don’t take care of your body, where are you going to live?

Active people have little time for complaining. They volunteer, they help others, they make things, they have fun, they create, they exercise, they observe the world, and they enjoy themselves.

Grateful people find reasons to be happy with whatever they have rather than complain that they have less than others or less than they used to have. Grateful people are pleasant to be around and they inspire others to be grateful as well.

So, be Healthy, Active, and Grateful and avoid becoming a HAG!
